Your Questions About Limited Brands, Coal & More...

Question #1: Kathleen from New York asks with summer right around the corner, is Limited Brands (LTD) a stock to short; and she also wants to know what other retail stocks might be a smart play?

Jeff Macke says LTD blamed the weather for missing sales in February.  Jeff says that’s a good reason to get short them.  However, Jeff thinks a better move is to get long Zumiez (ZUMZ).

Question #2: Shannon from Georgia has been following Peabody Energy Corp (BTU) and wants to know if it’s a good energy sector stock or if there are there any other stocks in this sector that are better?

Eric Bolling says BTU is a great coal play because 45% of all electricity generation comes from coal. Massey Energy Company (MEE) and Arch Coal (ACI) are also companies that Eric likes. He adds this is good timing because we’re going into the summer.  (Air conditioners use electricity)

Question #3: Steve from New York wants to know about the management shake up at Motorola (MOT), as well as the company's large share buyback program and Carl Icahn's bid for a Board seat. Specifically, Steve wonders if events present a buying opportunity?

Tim Strazzini says the recent pull back is a response to the fact the company is not making enough money.  Tim thinks MOT has a downside to $15.  He suggests that Steve buy a wire-line carrier with a wireless business such as AT&T (T) or Verizon (VZ)

Question #4: Lee from North Carolina wants to know about MEMC Electronic Materials (WFR). With the shortage in polysilicon, and government subsidizing in solar energy he wants to know what the guys think.

Eric Bolling says WFR is a great company. He adds stay with it and on any pull back, buy more.
