Blackstone Selling Stamford Portfolio to RFR Holding: WSJ

The Blackstone Group is selling its Stamford, Conn, portfolio to RFR Holding for a price approaching $500 a square foot, the Wall Street Journal reports.

The Stamford portfolio was part of the sale of buildings Blackstone acquired from Equity Office Properties Trust.

Jason Brown, president of RFR, the New York based-firm headed by contemporary art collector Aby Rosen and his partner Michael Fuchs, confirmed his firm won the bidding. The Wall Street Journal said the price was between $830 million and $850 million for the properties that take up 1,675,000 square feet.
