Eisner: Web's Future Lies In 'Professionally Produced Content'

Michael Eisner joined CNBC’s Sue Herera on “Power Lunch” to talk about his new ventures. The former Walt Disney CEO turned investment mogul spoke about the changing media landscape and his predictions for the future.

“The Internet is going to be the place where mainstream professionally produced content, not just e-mails, will be streamed. We will be about to do things that I could never do while running Disney, Paramount or ABC,” said Eisner, who founded the privately-held Tornante investment company in 2005, and recently teamed with Madison Dearborn Partners to buy Topps for $385.4 million.

“Right now it’s about user generation and blogging, but it’s going to be about content.”
