Here’s a quick trade update on BlackBerry maker Research In Motion (RIMM). On Monday May 21st Eric Bolling said “What a great handset, nothing can take away from BlackBerry.”
The stock jumped 4% Thursday, after a Merrill Lynch report said Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone would help RIMM by helping to boost demand for smart phones in general.
Today Eric says, it turns out the iPhone and AT&T (T) have a 5 year deal. People are looking at RIMM as an alternative to the iPhone.
And, yesterday we told you about Network Appliance (NTAP) - click here to read the post-- shares were down today which left us wondering how other names in the data storage space would do. As it turned out, EMC Corp. (EMC) was the most active name on the NYSE.
Guy Adami says it was up 1.5% on the VMware spin-off.
Pete Najarian adds he sees a lot of options trading on EMC.
