Raytheon-Led Group Wins $11.2 Billion Army Training Contract

Raytheon said a consortium it is leading in collaboration with Computer Sciences Corp has been chosen to oversee the US Army's live, virtual and constructive training operations and support systems worldwide.

The Warfighter Field Operations Customer Support (Focus) contract, which aims to improve the readiness and effectiveness of US Army soldiers, is worth an estimated $11.2 billion over 10 years, Raytheon said.

The defense contractor said work for the program includes support for training exercises and operations; maintenance for all training and range systems; curriculum development and instruction; management oversight and administrative support for contractor activities; and supply support for all government-owned property and material.
