No. 3 - Markets Shake Off Terror

Terrorism-related news almost always gives the market at least a momentary chill, yet this past week’s terror jitters in the U.K. didn’t seem to make much of a ripple across the U.S. markets. Have we become complacent in the face of terrorism, or does the lack of a credible threat to the homeland mean there’s no reason to stop buying?

The guys have some defensive trades in the case that terror fears abroad or at home could intensify as the summer progresses. Guy Adami is a buyer of DRS Technolgoies (DRS) and L3 Communications (LLL), two companies that specialize in security systems. Pete Najarian likes Force Protection (FRPT) which makes military vehicles that could replace the Humvee. And Eric Bolling recommends the defensive play Alliant Techsystems (ATK) an aerospace and defense products manufacturers that also provides ammunition to law enforcement.
