Currency Factors Shaping M&A Volume

The weak dollar has led to worldwide liquidity, as people look for places to put their money, Gerald Adolph, senior vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton, told "Power Lunch."

Weak Dollar = More Takeovers?

He added that since the U.S. doesn't offer yields as good as those from the past, the money is flowing into M&A.

And as for the current volume of M&A deals--globally, they've reached some $2 trillion in value this year--Adolph doesn't see the number of agreements falling significantly.

"You would need to see a fairly significant move in the interest rates for ... the private equity folks not to be able to do deals and for the corporates not to be able to do deals," Adolph said.
