Minnesota is far from the worst in the nation when it comes to transportation infrastructure.
We found as much when CNBC did its study on "America's Top States for Business" last month.
The state came in #11 overall in the transportation category, and had the third best bridges and 16th best roads in the nation, according to one of the metrics we used.
So how bad is the overall situation? The U.S. Department of Transportation says more than 27% of the nation's bridges are either "structurally deficient" or "functionally obsolete."
