EasyJet Expects to Top Profit Guidance


British budget airline easyJet said on Friday it would beat its previous guidance for year pre-tax profit after booking an 11 million pounds one-off benefit from its investment in The Airline Group.

Passenger numbers rose 14.2% year-on-year in September to 3.4 million.

Its load factor, the number of passengers as a proportion of seats available, fell 1.3 percentage points to 85.2%.
