Hidden Millions in Your Attic

Thursday night on "The Big Idea"...

You may have a million dollar idea just waiting to be discovered! Donny's guests simply looked into their family's past and unearthed a fortune. From old family recipes to plots of land thought to be worthless, our guests tonight have all made millions just by doing a little digging.

Michele Hoskins is making big bucks with her great, great grandmother's syrup recipe. Sam Adams Beer founder Jim Koch also discovered an old family recipe for beer and has since brewed up millions.

When you see Michele's interview tonight, you'll notice that she joins Donny via satellite -- and there’s a reason for that. On the day she was scheduled to fly to New York for the show, the weather here was pretty bad.

Michele didn't board the plane that morning and called to say she wasn't going to make it. She was extremely apologetic. We were all pretty disappointed because we were so eager to meet her in person. When Michele explained why she couldn't board the plane, it all made sense.

Michele teaches a mentoring program in Chicago for entrepreneurs and feared that if she got stuck in New York, she wouldn't make it home in time to teach. We all admire Michele's dedication to teaching others what she knows. It's obvious she loves what she does and is living life to the fullest.

Tune in tonight and you’ll see what we mean!
