While the credit crunch forced General Electric to cut its forecast, much of its international business remains strong.
In particular, its infrastructure divisions are reaping the benefits of fast-growing emerging markets.

But Tim Seymour of Seygem Asset Management -- and a regular on CNBC's "Fast Money" -- says look beyond GE for some of the best infrastructure and utility plays in the southern hemisphere.
Endesa -- Generates power in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru.
Enersis -- Power utility and real estate development, also in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru.
Saneamento Basico -- Water and sewage company in Brazil's biggest state.
