Lightning Round: Juniper, Genentech, First Solar and More

Juniper Networks : As long as Juniper goes head-to-head with Cisco , Cramer doesn’t think it can win.

Sunoco : Don’t buy. Cramer doesn’t like any of the refiners.

Commscope : Ring the register, Cramer said. There’s too much competition in this space.

Genentech : The biotech space is tough right now, Cramer said. He’s playing it safe and only recommending Gilead and half a position in Celgene .

Gencor : “You’ve got a winner.” Owens Corning is good, too, he said.

SunPower : Any solar company that uses silicon is a sell in Cramer’s book. That’s why he’s bullish on First Solar .

OraSure : “I don’t want anything to do with that,” Cramer said after one of the worst earnings misses he’s ever seen.

Energy Conversion Devices : It’s on a roll, that’s for sure. But at a 52-week high, Cramer urged a little profit taking in this name.

Fifth Third Bank : “I don’t trust the dividend,” Cramer said.

Gran Tierra Energy : Cramer has problems with this stock. He’d rather swap into a tried and true nat gas play like Chespeake or XTO Energy .

Norfolk Southern : You can’t go wrong with a railroad, Cramer said, although NSC is his least favorite of the big ones. In order, he likes CSX , Union Pacific , Burlington Northern then NSC.

Intrepid Potash : If you didn’t get it on the IPO, Cramer would rather you own Potash .

Mellanox : There’s nothing compelling here, Cramer said. He wouldn’t be a buyer.

Jim's charitable trust owns XTO Energy.
