Black Back
The new iPhone, pictured on the left, is slightly smaller and weighs a little less than the original one. The new phone now has a shiny black plastic back, unlike its predecessor's silver colored one.
Curved for Comfort
The back is slightly curved allowing for a better grip on the phone.
Map It
The phone's new GPS technology allows users to get directions and search for nearby restaurants and shops.
Fun With Numbers
The basic calculator becomes a scientific calculator when the phone is rotated and held horizontally.
Faster Internet
Now that the new phone works on AT&T's 3G network, Apple says that Web browsing on the new model will be faster.
Parental Controls
Parents can now block and control what sites their children can visit on the phone's Web browser.
Price Drop
The new phone will be cheaper than the original. The iPhone 3G will cost $200 for the 8-gigabyte model and $300 for the 16-gig model.
