Journalist Chloe Cho CNBC in Singapore

Singapore, September 12 – CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, is delighted to welcome broadcast journalist, Chloe Cho, to the editorial team in Singapore. Chloe will be joining CNBC in October. 

Formerly with Channel NewsAsia, Chloe Cho will be providing live hits into CNBC Asia Pacific’s morning programming, Squawk Box, CNBC’s Cash Flow and Capital Connection, reporting on regional market issues and business stories.

With more than 12 years of experience, Chloe Cho previously presented Channel NewsAsia’s daily news program, East Asia Tonight, which focuses on events in China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan.  Chloe has regularly anchored Channel NewsAsia’s World Today and Asia Today. She enjoys handling breaking news and has helmed the channel’s ‘live’ news coverage of such events as the death of former Indonesian President Suharto, the 2006 Thai military coup, bombings in Bali and London as well as the 2006 IMF/ World Bank Meetings and the commented live on the story of Pope John Paul II’s funeral.

Aside from news, Chloe hosted and co-produced Insight, a weekly current affairs show. She has also hosted and produced other Current Affairs programs, such as – Building Brands: East Meets West, The Interview and One on One.

Prior to joining Channel NewsAsia in 2004, Chloe was news team manager and presenter at South Korea’s English channel, Arirang TV. She also served as the network’s morning news editor.
