A measly $81.5 million was wagered in Nevada on Super Bowl XLIII, according to the State's Gaming Control Board.
That's an 11.5 percent drop from last year's handle and the largest game-to-game drop since this started to be monitored in 1991.
The biggest Nevada handle was the $94.5 million wagered on Super Bowl XLI in 2006.
It is said that less than 1 percent of the money wagered on the Super Bowl comes into the state of Nevada, but it's probably a good indication that overall betting is down.
Interestingly, the bookmakers in Vegas profited off the game for the 17th time in the last 19 years. Last year, when the 12-point underdog Giants beat the Patriots, the gamblers won as about 80 percent of the books lost money.
