The Latest Picks That Paid - Friday April 3rd

Quicker Ticker

Our traders are good but you knew that. Check out their latest picks that paid in a feature we call “Quicker Than The Ticker.”

Jeff Macke

On March 23rd the Wolf took a bite out of a tech favorite and told us, “I bought Apple at the end of the day. I’ve been doing this long enough to know I'd be kicking myself in the backside if I didn't get long now.”

Like Ben Franklin said, a little Apple is good for what ails you (well he didn’t say it quite like that) but after an analyst upgrade and buzz about its new iPhone design the stock jumped 7% since the Wolf jumped in.

Joe Terranova

On March 30th the Liquidator anticipated profits would flow from a pipeline play. “Flowserve is one name that I think at this valuation is particularly attractive,” he said.

The Liquidator found a gusher. Shares of the firm soared 15% since his call, after the company announced it would open the largest pump facility in the Middle East.

Tim Seymour

On March 27th the Ambassador thought a global hot spot looked like it was on a hot streak. He said, “I l like Taiwan Semi which is showing big growth in Asia, and where I think you're going to get the excitement.”

The Ambassador must be glad he welcomed this visitor to his portfolio. Shares of Taiwan Semiconductor are up 13% since Seymour’s call.

Karen Finerman

On March 10th the Chairwoman predicted pay-dirt with an off-shore driller. At the time she said, “I like Transocean . RIG is the ticker.”

Clearly, the Chairwoman fueled her portfolio with this trade. After Goldman Sachs reinstated its “outperform” on the oil service sector, shares of the world's largest offshore contractor jumped 18% higher.

Now that’s “Fast Money.”
