Mike Holland at Holland & Co. and Jeff Mortimer at Schwab Funds explained why this is the right time for investors to buy into the markets.
“I think the March 9th low was significant,” Mortimer told CNBC. “It was great capitulation on that day for selling…For a longer-term investor, it might be a chance to really build some longer-term positions on their portfolio.”
“We’re going up,” agreed Holland. “Right now, it looks like things have turned.”
“It let us down, and it’s going to take us up,” he said of the sector. “[The tech companies] paid a big price 7,8,9, years ago.
"It had its own bear market and a whole revaluation of the multiples.”
No immediate information was available for Holland and Mortimer.
