Risk Can be 'Managed' With These ETFs: Strategist

Investors can control risk factors by investing in managed exchange-traded funds (ETFs), said Carrie Coghill Kuntz, president and co-founder of D.B. Root & Co.

“Clients are very concerned about managing risk after what the markets have been through in the past nine months,” Kuntz told CNBC. “So with ETFs, and by managing ETFs properly, you can set stop-loss orders or you can set 'buy-stocks' if you see a trend forming.”

Kuntz said there are some economies around the world that have held up better than others, such as China and Brazil.

Kuntz Recommends:

iShares MSCI BRIC

iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index —“China just announced that they’re going to provide subsidies for people to buy appliances and they understand that they need to build domestic demand. And that’s fuelling some of these emerging markets,” she said.
