Peter Kenny, managing director at Knight Equities and Jim Iuorio, director at TJM Institutional Services, weighed in on the best places to invest now.
E-TRACS UBS Bloomberg CMCI Food ETN—“It’s a great blend of seed feed and livestock,” Kenny told CNBC.
“It’s been around since October of '07, had a nice double top in '08 and it’s been in a very constructive pattern since then. It’s got high concentrations of wheat, corn and soybeans—all staples. It has underperformed its peer groups in the last five days and should play catch-up today.”

Calavo Growers—“People like avocados!” said Iuorio.
“Today [the avocado grower] had a major breakout. 2009 will be a little bit of a bad year because people tend to stay away from high-end products during bad times…but when the economy gets better, it should go.”
