We’re just poking some fun at the topic – but certainly if you trade this space you know that cigarette makers, alcoholic beverage companies and other firms that cater to human indulgence can present interesting opportunities. “I’d look at Philip Morris,” counsels Edwards. “It’s trading at 14 times earnings and a 5% dividend. Also almost half of its revenues are coming from Asia and developing nations. I think it’s a slam dunk.”

”And I’d also look at Molson Coors,” she adds. “It’s trading about 13 times earnings and I think they benefit from grain prices going down.”
