Can "Crasher Squirrel" Make Money?

If there was ever an opportunity to cash in on nonsense, it's the squirrel who forced its way into a self-timed photo by Melissa and Jackson Brandts while they vacationed in Banff. Who wants to worry about healthcare and the national debt when we can all look at THIS?

Crasher Squirrel

"Crasher Squirrel" has been a huge hit. Now Buzzfeed is letting people insert the squirrel into their own photos. The results can be hilarious. Over 800 people have participated. Here's one of my favorites.

I decided to make my own Crasher Squirrel photo using Buzzfeed--combining the greatest mind in investing with the hottest critter in new media. Warren Buffett + Crasher Squirrel=$$$.

Well, at least the Buffett part makes $$$ with or without the squirrel. Not sure the Brandts are able to capitalize on this. They've started a Facebook fanpage for the animal, but there's no money there. Maybe they could sell T-shirts at CrasherSquirrel.com

Oh wait, somebody's already grabbed that domain name! However, the owner's accepting bids. Tick-tock. Seems to me Crasher Squirrel's got a narrow window of opportunity before being supplanted by the next internet craze, like the amazing basketball shot by Denis Clemente. or Nora, the Piano Playing Cat.
