Apple, Intel & IBM Trades

Shares of Google hit a 52-week high on Monday.

Considering tech is the best performing sector since the collapse of Lehman one year ago, how should you trade other tech titans?

Performance Since Lehman Bankruptcy
(or since last year at this time)
Technology                        -1.92%
Healthcare                        -10.65%
Consumer Discretionary        -12.91%
Telecom                            -15.84%
Utilities                            -20.65%
Financials                         -30.97%

It seems to me that after the tech bubble burst, tech companies learned to be leaner and meaner, says Joe Terranova. They manage costs better now and that's how they've not only survived but thrived.

What’s the trade?

I like Apple , says Joe Terranova. It's back up to $174. And keep an eye on Baidu , it got an upgrade.

Intel has underperformed on a very good tape, counters Guy Adami. And IBM hasn’t been able to close above $120. That makes me say hmmmm, maybe something is going on. I'm cautious.

I think tech is basing, adds Pete Najarian. IBM went from $105 to $120 and they’re holding. I think that’s pretty impressive.
