On October 23, the Chairwoman proved she knows Carl Icahn maybe even better than his own wife as Yahoo dove 8 percent after his resignation from the board. "He's looking to get out of the rest of his stock ... I think the stock definitely should go down on this."

On Sept. 18, the Ambassador bet on a bulldoze through earnings season for Caterpillar .After the company reported better-than-expected profits and boosted its forecast, shares surged 9 percent. "A lot of these surveys showing you there is some construction return," he said. "CAT is a great company, it's a lean company, and when the cycle turns it will be more profitable."

On October 20, the Pit Boss said Bucyrus was well equipped. After beating on earnings, the stock surged 22 percent, hitting fresh 52-week highs. "I love Bucyrus. I think that the whole area when you're talking coal, the mining segment, you've got to like those names that are most heavily exposed to mining."
