Swiss watch company TAG Heuer announced on Friday that it would curtail its advertising with Tiger Woods to "respect his desire of privacy."
TAG is now the second company to put forth that line after Gillette made a similar statement last week.
While running ads that Woods has already shot doesn't necessarily interfere with his privacy, it does make the announcement of the phasing out of ads more comfortable.
The true test for these companies will be when Woods returns to the golf course and back into the public eye. If ads don't appear soon, will these companies feel the need to explain themselves again?
