Business hasn’t been good for Canh Oxelson of late.

That’s because he’s a lookalike for Tiger Woods.

“I was supposed to be a stand-in for a commercial a week after this all came out and that never came to fruition,” Oxelson, whose day job is the dean of students at a high school in southern California. “And since then, I’ve had other people pull contracts off the table.”

Oxelson, who says he did about 10 events in 2009 as Tiger’s double, says the economy took a hit out his usual bookings. But 2010 now looks even worse.

“I’ve had companies ask me if I’d do a parody of Tiger,” Oxelson said. “But I don’t want to be piling on the guy.”

Oxelson worked on his golf game so that he could be a bigger hit at charity golf tournaments. He says he typically shoots in the low 90s.
