How should investors be positioned in this volatile market environment? Stuart Desmond, vice president of R.W. Baird shared his investment strategies.
“Keep in mind that from a macro perspective, GDP is going to grow in the low single digits and the market will be up anywhere between 5 to 15 percent,” Desmond told CNBC.
Desmond said there will be significant upturns and downturns in the market—like a “roller coaster ride.”
“So far, we’ve seen some downturns,” he said. “And at that point in time, I’m going to look for some high quality stocks that have overreacted to the bad news.”
