By the end of trading the Dow had plunged by triple digits, riots shook the streets of Greece, and analysts had called for the break-up of the EU.

But that didn't stop our traders from finding value in that fear. They say there are buying opportunities. You just have to know where to look.

I added to my position in technology names on the pullback, says Pete Najarian. I like the space and when the Vix started to ease it gave me confidence to get long.

I think all the rhetoric about Europe is way overdone, adds Tim Seymour. If there’s so much trouble overseas how can the Vix be going down, he adds. I’m look for buying opportunities on the dip. And don't be afraid to put money to work overseas. Check out Telefonica .

I was also in the market buying, says Karen Finerman. I added to my position in Google , as well as Airgas and General Growth Properties.

If you’re looking for a trade, I’d look at getting long Palm , says Guy Adami. There’s a huge short interest in this name.

I just can’t feel bullish, says Dennis Gartman. I think Europe’s problems are long-term and in fact, I think it’s possible the EU could ultimately dissolve. But whatever the outcome, the troubles in Europe are likely to hang over markets for a long time and that’s bearish.

Considering the economic and political circumstances in Europe I’d get long gold , he counsels. But I’m long in terms of other currencies, not US dollars.

Gap gave positive guidance, adds Tim Seymour. That might have lifted the sector.
