CNBC in Asia Pacific Promotes Jacqueline Lam to Vice President, Marketing & Distribution

Singapore, 17 March 2010-- CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, in Asia Pacific today announced the promotion of Jacqueline Lam to Vice President of Marketing & Distribution effective immediately.  Based in Singapore, Lam will report to Satpal Brainch, President and Managing Director of CNBC Asia Pacific.

In this expanded role, Lam will be responsible for providing strategic direction to the marketing function and further building the CNBC brand with advertisers, partners and their core audience.

Lam joined CNBC Asia five years ago as Manager of Affiliate Sales and rose to her most recent position of Head of Network Distribution. She has expanded the network across Asia Pacific and will continue to oversee CNBC’s efforts to enhance distribution opportunities on all TV and digital platforms.

Previously, Lam was with MediaCorp New, where she was the Manager, Regional Distribution and Marketing, responsible for identifying and strategizing channel market entry in Asia. Prior to that she was the Marketing Manager for J.D. Edwards (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd.  During her tenure there, she led events management, advertising, brand management and the Corporate Communications division.  Her efforts led to the roll out of Supply Chain Management and e-business applications through marketing campaigns in the region. 

Lam is a graduate of Oklahoma City University, where she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, as well as a Diploma in Business Administration from the Singapore Polytechnic.
