Cramer during Thursday’s Stop Trading! offered calls on to Dow 30 names, DuPont and Corning:
The Mad Money host said that DuPont gave a good presentation at the UBS 1:1 Chemicals Conference, adding that he’s now less worried about the company’s housing exposure or patent expiration problems. Instead, Cramer is now looking at DuPont as an emerging-markets play, citing the “tremendous earnings power.”
Corning meanwhile could benefit from the latest consumer-electronics fad, 3-D televisions. More immediately, though, Cramer said the company is riding the increased demand for PCs and TVs overall, saying it has been “a little bit stronger than people thought.”
“The stock hasn’t done anything in a long time,” Cramer said of GLW, but “I think it’s worth a second look.”
