The second round of Fast Money Madness has ended and only the strong have survived. These are the Sweet 16.

As you may know, we’ve ranked stocks in the S&P 500 by four major industries. In the first round of play we eliminated half of the competitors.

And some of the rivalries may be telling. For example:

GE (11) beat Caterpillar (3) in an upset victory with only 50.1% of the vote. Now the conglomerate faces Ford (10) in round 3.

Disney (12) triumphed over Home Depot (4) with only 50.1% of the vote and now the Mouse House faces Walmart (1) in round 3.

Other match-ups also look interesting. For example:

McDonald's (14) Vs. Amazon (7)

Apple (2) Vs. Cisco (3)
