All ship lanes open despite Gulf spill - officials


HOUSTON, May 10 (Reuters) - All shipping lanes on the U.S. Gulf of Mexico coast remained open Monday despite the spreading oil spill offshore, officials said. "All shipping channels are open and should remain open," a Coast Guard spokeswoman said. "We have cleaning stations on hand should any vessels need to be cleaned."
