Dow Industrials - 20 Months Into Presidencies


Today marks 20 months since President Obama was inaugurated. Despite the economic turmoil and uncertainty, the stock markets have had stellar performance since Obama took office. Keep in mind though, stocks were hovering near multi-year lows ahead of President Obama’s inauguration.

Nevertheless, since the Hoover administration, the only time stocks performed better in the first 20 months of a Presidency was after FDR took office.
