Mad Money

Lightning Round: Vera Bradley Designs, Bank of America, Alcatel Lucent and More

Johnson Controls : Cramer said this company is too hard to own and has too many companies levered to the auto business. He suggests selling it until it gets down to $33 or $34 a share.

PPL : This stock is an "excellent buy," Cramer said, because of its five percent yield. He advises buying half now and more if it comes down.

Vera Bradley Designs : VRA had a nice run, and it's time to move on, the "Mad Money" host said.

Heckmann : Cramer thinks this U.S. company, which includes a subsidiary that manufactures and sells bottle water products in China, is a good buy.

Bank of America : Banks are still a "free-fire zone" according to Cramer. He said it is still too early to buy.

Alcatel Lucent : While ALU has had a very big run, Cramer said it's still a "second-rate also-ran telco player in a market where telco is not that good." He would sell this stock.

Boise : This paper company looks like Temple-Inland , which got a bid from International Paper Monday. If BZ rallies because of this, then Cramer said sell because the industrials are not trading right.

When this article was published, Cramer's charitable trust owned Bank of America.
