What's On: Earnings, the Debt Ceiling and Housing

Jason Gewirtz|Senior Producer

Here's what's up on Tuesday's Squawk on the Street:

--The earnings list is long, long, llllloooonnggg. Jim Cramer will go through it one stock at a time. On the list: Ford, BP ... we still like to call it British Petroleum, 3M, UPS ... as for stocks with initials not in their names, Hershey, LockheedMartin and Amazon.

--We promise to keep watching the debt ceiling story like a politician watches a baby with a lollipop. That brings us to the Street Poll: Do you think we even need a debt ceiling? Share your opinion.

--Also on the big show, two key numbers on housing and three of the biggest guests you can imagine on the industry. Case Shiller numbers are due out and so are New Home Sales. Karl Case, Robert Shiller and David Blitzer, the men behind that Case Shiller number will be with us live, and it'll be the first time ever they've all been on television together at one time. We promise a history making cablecast, live from the New York Stock Exchange.

Squawk on the Street comes to you live from the New York Stock Exchange each weekday morning at 9 a.m. ET.
