Cramer will look for three companies to report quarterly earnings results on Friday, including Honeywell International, Schlumberger and Verizon Communications.
To start, the "Mad Money" host will monitor Honeywell's results before Friday's opening bell. He hopes the diversified technology and manufacturing company will give an update on its five-year plan. If executives say the plan is still intact, Cramer thinks HON could be an excellent stock to anchor one's portfolio.
Schlumberger , an oil and gas exploration company, is also scheduled to report before the opening bell. The price of oil fell after the death of Libyan dictator Mummar Gaddafi on Thursday, although it should take months for Libya's oil industry to recover and for the full impact to be felt on world markets. Will Schlumberger provide any insight?
Finally, Cramer wants to hear what Verizon says about demand for Apple's iPhone 4S. If demand is strong, Cramer thinks it could be another leg up for Apple. The wireless carrier will also report before the open.
