Ross Stores rang up more than a 15 percent boost in its share price year to date, landing it at No. 11 in the top-performing S&P stocks of 2011.
ROST shares traded in the $47 range Friday, near its 52-week low of $46.30. The stock’s high within the same period was $95.24, and it had EPS of $2.70.
Trader Pete Najarian offered a word of caution on the retailer.
“When these things break, they do break kind of ugly, so you want to use your 50-day moving average as your barometer,” he said.
