Trading April's Biggest Winners & Losers

With the last day of the month on the books, money pros often look at the biggest winners and losers over the past 30 days or so, looking for plays.

When looking at winners, they look to see if any of the biggest gainers are overbought and due for a pullback.

What if anything belongs on your radar?

April’s Best Performers
Sunoco +28%
Expedia +27%
Amazon +15%

Of all the big winners, the Fast Money traders are most focused on Amazon .

“I think Amazon is due for a little pullback,” says trader Jon Najarian “I expect it’s following a pattern similar to Apple, in that it goes higher on earnings then pulls back.”

However, Najarian likes Amazon's longer term prospects and says it’s attractive on the pull back.

April’s Worst Performers
Netflix -30%,
Genworth -28%
First Solar -27%
Sandisk -26%

Of course the exact opposite is true of the losers. In the case of big losers, the pros look to see if any are oversold and due for a pop.

Of all the losers listed above the Fast Money pros are most focused on Genworth .

“They’re due to report on Tuesday after the bell,” says trader Guy Adami. "Their mortgage insurance business isn’t great but it’s getting better. They could surprise to the upside. If you’re looking for a flier, I think the name could pop.”
