Wall Street Whale Watching: 13F Filings Flood Street

It’s 13F season. And you know what that means – time for more Wall Street whale watching!

Every quarter the biggest investors or so-called Wall Street Whales submit 13F filings to the SEC.

This form, which must be filed within 45 days of the end of each quarter, reveals how big money investors have traded over the past quarter.

The documentation is required of all institutional investment managers with over $100 million in qualifying assets however, pro traders are typically most interested in the moves made by smart money investors – people such as Warren Buffett - as well as activist investors such as Carl Icahn.

And in the last releases, the Fast Money pros were most intrigued by the trades made by SAC, George Soros and Tiger.

All three heavy hitters made bullish bets on -- wait for it -- Facebook !

Despite miserable price action and lackluster earnings, it appears these highly successful investors believe Facebook has upside.
