At a glance: Oil falls after US job report

NEW YORK -- Oil fell 2 percent Friday as traders fretted that jobs aren't growing fast enough in the U.S. to significantly boost demand for fuel.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange:

_ Benchmark oil closed down $1.83 to $89.88 per barrel.

_ Natural gas gave up a penny to end at $3.396 per 1,000 cubic feet.

_ Heating oil fell 3 cents to $3.16 per gallon.

_ Wholesale gasoline gained a tenth of a penny to settle at $2.95 per gallon.

On the ICE Futures Exchange in London:

Brent crude, which is used to price international varieties of oil, lost 56 cents to $112.02.
