Index futures pointed to a lower open as the World Bank cutgrowth forecasts for East Asia, underscoring concerns about theglobal economic climate and corporate profits on the cusp of thekickoff of the quarterly earnings season.

S&P 500 futures fell 4.2 points and were below fairvalue, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into accountinterest rates, dividends and time to expiration on thecontract. Dow Jones industrial average futures lost 45points, and Nasdaq 100 futures lost 11.25 points.

** RENEWABLE ENERGY GROUP , Friday close $7.12, down21.2 pct premarket

The company said it would post an adjusted core loss for thethird quarter as biodiesel prices fell by more than a third.

** AFFYMETRIX INC , Friday close $4.31, down 16 pctpremarket

The genetic analysis products maker forecast itsthird-quarter revenue below Street estimates, citing thetightening academic funding environment worldwide that reducedrevenues in its gene expression and eBioscience business units.

The company estimated a total revenue of $80 millioncompared with analyst estimates of $84.6 million, according toThomson Reuters I/B/E/S.

The database management software maker said it could seesome revenue slippage in the current quarter as a result of theresignation of Chief Executive Jay Bhatt.

Bloomberg reported that the healthcare IT company receivedoffers from a private-equity consortium, including BlackstoneGroup LP and Carlyle Group LP .

Morgan Stanley upgraded the video streaming company to"overweight" from "equalweight," saying the company is poised toleverage its domestic cost structure and potentially become aglobal video platform, Benzinga reported.

Morgan Stanley downgraded the network gear maker to"underweight", Benzinga reported.

Barclays raised the price target of the home improvementretailer to $70 from $60.

The company said the previously announced merger of SunocoInc with one of ETP's subsidiaries was complete.

Jefferies & Co raised the price target of the hospitalsoperator to $29 from $26.

Barclays Capital cut the price target of the largest nuclearoperator to $36 from $40.

J.P. Morgan Securities cut the chipmaker's stock to"underweight" from "neutral". The brokerage also cut its pricetarget on the stock to $5.00 from $8.00.

** GOOGLE INC , Friday close $767.65

Google's YouTube, now carrying more polished output, willannounce more original channels to the 100 it has introduced inthe last year, New York Times reported.


J.P. Morgan Securities raised the chipmaker's stock to"neutral" from "underweight."

** PHILIP MORRIS INTERNATIONAL , Friday close $93.74

Nomura Equity Research raised the price target of thecompany, which owns the Marlboro, L&M and Bond Street brands, to$83.70 from $80.50
