JOHANNESBURG, Oct 9 (Reuters) - The Johannesburg StockExchange said on Tuesday that some users were unable to seemarket data due to a system glitch, but that trade had not beenhalted.
"The JSE and its service provider are still investigatingthe issue. The JSE will not be halting the market," the JSE Ltd, which operates Africa's biggest bourse, said on itsweb site.
The problem was affecting clients using a data feed fromLondon, it said.
Problems with the connection between Johannesburg and Londonhave plagued the JSE in recent years, sparking system glitchesthat have forced the bourse to halt trading several times.
One network meltdown in 2010 caused trading to stop for sixhours.
The bourse this year launched a revamped trading platform towoo more business from hedge funds and cut down on systemtrouble.
