CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns positive as materials climb

TORONTO, Oct 10 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index waslittle changed in early trade on Wednesday, turning positiveafter U.S. earnings season kicked off with mixed signals and asstronger materials shares offset weak financials.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index

was up 0.83 of a point to 12,274.40.
