Project Veritas: Obama Campaign Workers Caught in Election Fraud Scandal

HOUSTON, Oct. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Project Veritas, the group headed by James O'Keefe and known for undercover video operations, has released a new investigation that exposes Obama campaign workers, including a Regional Field Director at Organizing for America (OFA), engaged in election fraud.

Announcing the release, James O'Keefe said, "These individuals showed no concern whatsoever when our investigators declared their intention to vote multiple times for President Obama. In fact, they were happy to help, even going so far as to provide the forms necessary to commit the fraud and offering advice on how to avoid getting caught."

For much of 2012, Project Veritas has been conducting an ongoing series of investigations in more than a dozen states demonstrating the ease with which election fraud can be committed and legitimate voters can be disenfranchised. And they've shown that no one is immune. In April, a Project Veritas investigator was even offered the ballot of Attorney General Eric Holder himself.

"But no matter how many times we've proven the danger," said O'Keefe, "our concerns have been dismissed by the media while efforts to correct the problem at the state level have been actively blocked by the Obama administration. Now we know why."

This latest footage was gathered over several weeks in Texas and New Jersey. It shows Obama campaign workers, including the Regional Field Director at Organizing for America in Houston, Texas, providing material assistance to individuals who state explicitly that they intend to commit election fraud.

There is no doubt that these workers know exactly what they are doing. In response to the investigator's request for help voting twice, the OFA director says, "Oh my god this is so funny. It's cool though!" When discussing the possibility of getting caught, the director says, "If anyone checks, say 'I don't know.'"

Contrary to what Organizing for America seems to have taught their staff, election fraud is not "cool." It is a serious crime that jeopardizes the integrity of the political process and disenfranchises legitimate voters. In the coming weeks, Project Veritas will demonstrate that this attitude of callous disregard for the law runs rampant throughout the campaign to re-elect President Obama.

For any journalist who would like to dismiss this report from Project Veritas as a fluke or isolated incident, James O'Keefe has a simple message: "Put your reputation on the line."
