LANDOVER, Md., Oct. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Giant Food of Landover, Md., following a recall by Tyson Foods Inc., announced it removed from sale two varieties of its boneless chicken wyngz due to undeclared milk, egg, and soy on the ingredient label.
The following products are included in this recall:
To date, Giant Food has received no reports of illnesses associated with consumption of these products, but people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk, eggs, or soy may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. This product is safe to consume for customers who do not suffer from a milk, egg or soy allergy. Customers who have purchased the product should discard any unused portions and bring their purchase receipt to Giant for a full refund.
Symptoms of food allergies typically appear from within a few minutes to two hours after a person has eaten the food to which he or she is allergic. Allergic reactions can include: hives; flushed skin or rash; tingling or itchy sensation in the mouth; face, tongue, or lip swelling; vomiting and/or diarrhea; abdominal cramps; coughing or wheezing; dizziness and/or lightheadedness; swelling of the throat and vocal cords; difficulty breathing; loss of consciousness.
