Stream Energy Supports H.E.A.T., Inc. in Atlanta with Donation

2012 Marks Fifth Year of Support for Energy Assistance Charity

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Stream Energy, the global leader of energy network marketing companies, announced today that it is supporting the Heating Energy Assistance Team (H.E.A.T) for the fifth straight year with a sizable donation.

H.E.A.T. is a non-profit organization established in 1983 to help low-income households meet their energy needs through partnerships with a variety of concerned organizations.

“Stream Energy believes in providing relief to our neighbors who need help,” said Stream Energy Chairman Rob Snyder. “During tough economic times, no family should have to choose between food and energy, and that’s why we support H.E.A.T. Including this year’s donation, Stream Energy has donated $42,500 to H.E.A.T. over the past five years.”

“With cold weather on the horizon, Stream Energy’s donation comes at a welcome time,” said Janet H. Joseph of H.E.A.T., Inc. “Energy service is among the most pressing budgetary needs of all families, and H.E.A.T. has been fortunate to count Stream Energy among its corporate partners in serving low-income households in Georgia.”

Since 2008, Stream Energy has provided natural gas service to customers in Georgia. The firm has generated $5 billion in total revenue and has won numerous awards and accolades, primarily through its charitable endeavors.

About H.E.A.T.

Established in 1983, H.E.A.T. began as a program of Atlanta Gas Light Company. The organization helps address the energy needs of low-income Georgians by joining forces with concerned citizens, businesses and state and local governments.
