Oct 11 (Reuters) - J.K. Rowling's first adult novel, "TheCasual Vacancy," held on to the top spot of Publishers Weekly'sbestseller list for the second consecutive week on Thursday.

The list is compiled using data from independent and chainbookstores, book wholesalers and independent distributorsnationwide.
