ISTANBUL, Oct 11 (Reuters) - Turkey's current accountdeficit narrowed to $1.18 billion in August from a revised$4.097 billion a month earlier, central bank data showed onThursday, below a Reuters poll forecast for a deficit of $1.750billion.
In the first eight months of the year the deficit, regardedas a major weak point in the economy, was $36.08 billion, 33percent lower than in the same period of 2011.
