Recorded in Los Angeles, Slingshot is the third collaboration between Pidgeon and Grammy Award-winning producer Larry Klein. The 12 song CD is an intoxicatingly adult pop album that explores the intricate arc of love from desire to longing to despair and, alongside the Freedy Johnston/Pidgeon penned  "I Loved No One" features the "tender, intimate, country-flavored plea" USA Today favorite "Baby Please Come Home Again."  The album also offers a lone cover, a stirring, poignant version of Warren Zevon's "Searching for a Heart" that was featured in TV's Covert Affairs.

Pidgeon recently completed filming the Phil Spector biopic for HBO alongside Al Pacino and Helen Mirren that is slated for release in early 2013.

She will be touring with Grammy award winning songwriter Marc Cohn in November 2012 through January 2013.
