Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers may have written a big check that his ego—and bank account—can't cash.
During an exchange on Twitter last year, Rodgers wagered his 2013 salary on a bet that his friend, Milwaukee Brewers' outfielder Ryan Braun, was steroid-free, the New York Daily News reported Tuesday.
Major League Baseball suspended the slugger Monday for the remainder of the year after he admitted using performance-enhancing drugs. That means a very lucky Twitter user may have a windfall coming, courtesy of Rodgers' $39.5 million compensation this year.
