Top 3 tech plays? They're still in China

Top 3 technology plays in China

Up more than 75 percent since June, three Chinese internet stocks have further to climb, Light Street Capital Management President Glen Kacher said Friday.

"Well, I think No. 1, the fundamentals are terrific in these companies," he said.

The top three internet stocks Kacher named on CNBC's "Fast Money" during a June 10 appearance have seen outsized gains since then: Quihoo, up 105 percent; SouFun up 81 percent and YY up 74 percent.

The one-year gains in all three stocks were greater than 230 percent.

"It's a natural-growth sector, and we're seeing more and more people come on to the internet in China," Kacher said. "About 40 percent of the population is on to the internet. That number is rising. And the number of people that are accessing the internet on their mobile phone is growing dramatically.

"There are more mobile subscribers there, in China, than there are internet users."

Kacher said that he continued to believe in their future gains.
